However, there are person specific and lifestyle factors that can affect how long dermal filler results last.

LUMIFIL is developed to be accepted by the body and break down slowly over time.

Dermal filler is one of the most in-demand non-surgical aesthetic treatments for the over 40’s. Anti-aging is indeed the holy grail and dermal filler treatments are taking the aesthetics industry by storm dermal fillers are a most effective form of anti-ageing, rejuvenation, contouring and hydrating with many people starting treatments in their 20’s for a cosmetic and preventative effect that can stop the signs of ageing – or slow down its progress.

Hylauronic Acid (HA) – which is a substance that naturally already exists and is produced in the human body. Approximatley 56% of which is present in the skin. The function of hylauronic acid is to lubricate and fill the space between cells, causing a younger and healthier appearance on the skin.

It is a humectant – a water binding molecule which has the ability to hold 1000 x its weight in water. Injections of hylauronic acid can soften fine lies and creases; restore volume, refine and reshape the contours of the face.

The difference between hyaluronic acid products is the size of the particles, which are designed to address different wrinkle depths: smaller particles for fine lines and larger particles for deeper wrinkles and folds

Dermal fillers and botox are both cosmetic treatments given through injections, they are minimally invasive, meaning they do not involve any surgery, however, that is where their similarities end:

Botox and dermal filler treatments are extremely popular. Botox contains purified bacteria that freeze the muscles. In doing so, Botox can help to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and lines caused by facial expressions. Whereas dermal fillers contain ingredients that can add fullness and smoothing to areas that have thinned due to the normal process of ageing. This thinning is most common in the cheeks, lips and around the mouth and jowl area.

As Hylauraunic acid occurs naturally and is found in our body, its safety and effectiveness have made it the most common filler used today in aesthetic facial procedures. And although dermal fillers are widely used and are one of the safest kind of facial injections the risk of side effects cannot be entirely ruled out. You should always discuss your personalised treatment at your consultation with your aesthetics professional.
LUMIFIL® Hylauronic Acid dermal filler are one of the safest kinds of facial injections, but the risk of side effects cannot entirely be ruled out. Common issues are localised swelling and bruising for a short time after the treatment has been administered. Your aesthetic practitioner consultation should provide you with all the potential side effects and offer you the recommended before treatment and aftercare information.

Some clients experience mild pain and discomfort and itching these things are quite normal and not cause for concern. Occasionally some clients may experience light bleeding, a skin rash or some other form of allergy, but severe reactions are uncommon.

Always refer to your aesthetics professional practitioner to obtain, pre-treatment preparation and aftercare do’s and don’ts.

Dermal fillers can be composed of a variety of substances, some naturally occurring and some synthetic. One of the most common compounds used in dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring substance found in our skin, and it plays a major role in keeping skin hydrated and volumized. HA fillers, depending on their specific chemical makeup, can last from six months to much longer before being gradually absorbed by the body.

One of the main benefits of HA fillers, aside from their natural appearance when injected, is that they can be dissolved by a special solution in case of an adverse event, or if the person dislikes the appearance. Also, most HA fillers are premixed with lidocaine, a numbing agent, to maximize comfort during treatment.

Remember to avoid black market dermal fillers and that dermal fillers are safe and effective in the right hands.

To ensure maximum safety when using our products, give the plunger a right twist to make sure it is fully secured to the syringe before use.

LUMIFIL® HA dermal filler can and is widely used by men. A man’s personal grooming does not always have to be limited to shaving or having a stylish hair cut.

LUMIFIL® dermal filler can offer men the opportunity to address their concerns, reverse the signs of ageing or even take years off their appearance. Men can use dermal fillers to achieve a more refreshed, athletic and chiselled look without going under the knife. They are also ideal for improving the eye area, reducing facial lines and restoring or creating a naturally curved facial contour with a sharper jaw line.
